TUV Rheinaland, one of the world’s leading quality certifiers, have recently developed a new testing methodology to simulate environmental factors over a long period of time – including temperature, wind, hail, salt mist, dust, sand, rain, dew, frost, fog.
The long-term sequential testing goes above and beyond the requirements of the IEC 61215 standard and takes approximately 9 months. With many manufacturers now promising up to 25 years of life for a solar panel, the long term sequential test provides end users with more confidence their choice of panel will stand the test of time.
So far, only Kyocera have passed the long-term sequential test. Cut Loose currently has some great deals on Kyocera 135W panels. Call (07) 55207575 to find out more.
